During its visit to Egypt, the Philippines delegation signed a protocol with Egypt’s Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed El Attar, Head of the Central Administration for Plant Quarantine, allowing Egyptian citrus to enter the Philippines market during the current season.

According to Al-Attar, garlic, mangoes, watermelons, strawberries, guavas, beans, tomatoes, grapes, sweet potatoes, onions, and citrus fruits are among the most prominent Egyptian agricultural exports in 2022.
