Mahaseel Sponsors the Second Edition of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Festival 2023 in Al Fayoum

Mahaseel actively sponsored the Second Edition of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) Festival, which took place from September 21st to 22nd at the Helnan Auberge in Al Fayoum, sharing its expertise and exploring new business opportunities.

Over 100 exhibitors from the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants sector, along with international corporates, converged to establish robust cooperation and linkages with small farmers, explore new markets, exchange knowledge, and present plant varieties.

The festival also focused on the challenges confronting the industry, to put Egypt at the forefront by improving the quality of Egyptian products at all stages, from farming and production to export.
The MAPs Festival was organized by GIZ Egypt on behalf of the German Government through the Agricultural Innovation Project (AIP) and the Project Job Partnerships and SME Promotion (JP-SME), in cooperation with the Fayoum governorate and the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and strategic partners: Agricultural Export Council – AEC, Food Export Council (FEC), the Egyptian Chamber of Food Industries CFI, the Food and the Food and Agro-Industries Technology Center Egypt and Konzept.
